Tauhinu Scouts and Venturers recently attended the 29th National Scout Regatta ⚜ in Porirua as part of the joint zone contingent called TOAST . The action-packed 11-day trip included the usual regatta events: rowing, sailing, kayaking, swimming, seamanship and ironscout, competing against groups from across New Zealand. The road trip also featured overnight stays at a local scout halls, a day trip to Wellington, and the challenge of battling fierce storm-force winds 💨 on a couple of days.
