As a non-profit organisation, Tauhinu Sea\u00a0Scouts relies on the goodwill and support of the community. \u00a0We are all\u00a0volunteers and are not paid for what we\u00a0do. With\u00a0the support of a strong committee and parent helpers we can focus on delivering a great programme and exciting range of activities to the youth members. The time, energy and\u00a0commitment\u00a0of our parents and caregivers is\u00a0vital for ensuring the\u00a0scout group continues to have an positive\u00a0impact on the youth of Greenhithe and surrounding areas.<\/p>\n

There are many ways to get involved and any help you can provide is sincerely appreciated:<\/p>\n

  1. Become one us and become a leader<\/a>, it’s not as scary as it sounds and its immensely rewarding.<\/li>\n
  2. Take up a position on the committee or a non-committee role. See here<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Leverage your skills and experience to support instruction for badges.<\/li>\n
  4. Use your contacts to secure sponsorship or other support for the group.<\/li>\n
  5. Volunteer at a camp\\sleepover (Police check required) or help with a fundraising event.<\/li>\n
  6. Signup to activities on this website when advertised.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
