2014 Sixer-Seconder Course

The 2014 Sixer-Seconder course was attended by 11 cubs from Tauhinu and 37 from other packs within the zone. It consisted of some informative classroom sessions, to set expectations for existing and future Sixers and Seconders, plus a whole heap of fun activities crammed into 24 hours. The activities included a camp fire and sing song, tackling the high ropes on the confidence course, ship wrecked game, study of the law and promise, fitness, damper cooking, mats challenge, first aid, knots, flag rolling. On completion of the course each cub received a certificate and Camp Maynard blanket badge.  It was great to meet so many cubs from around the zone and the camp will hopefully prove to be good practice for our longer summer camp coming up in January.
