Tree Planting for the Kaipatiki Project

On Saturday 2 August myself and a few of our younger scouts got out and did some community service work which will count towards the Scout Awards program as well as an excellent opportunity to learn more from the knowledgeable volunteers about our native flora.

There were 800 native trees to be planted and because of the numbers of volunteers and thanks to the good hard work put in by everyone this got done very quickly.
